Identifies needs and coordinated activities to resolve issues or improve care of the patients within a surgical specialty in the Operating room. Makes recommendations and is involved in procedural or equipment modification and negotiating systems to implement changes. Assists with the development of a competency-based orientation for a specific specialty. Develops educational plans to meet ongoing competencies of the staff for a specific specialty. Participates in training programs for selected community/agency professional. Serves as consultant to staff and physicians; assists with the development of new and advanced skills that are required to support the procedures within a specialty; assists in coordination of delivery of care in the Operating Room. Identifies specialty needs; contributes to and assists with the development of or expansion of programs within specialty. Applies current research findings in practice; participates in data collection; introduces current research into clinical practice within surgical specialty. | Details: JOB SUMMARY Directly assists the Manager in the administration of the Analytical Laboratory.  JOB DUTIES ·        Receive and log submitted testing samples, identifying sample priority. This includes routine, daily samples and special projects.·        Maintain records, files and activity logs.·        Perform basic administrative duties for the Manager such as word processing, record keeping, communications, report writing, etc.·        Verify sample information, note special requests and instructions. ·        Update client account information as needed. ·        Retrieve samples for retesting or additional tests as requested.·        Print and verify reports for accuracy of billing charges, tests requested, data entry and customer account information.·        Issue certificates, certificate revisions and document accordingly.·        Enter data and fees into local software program and calculate testing cost.·        Communicate with clients, answering or routing questions as appropriate. ·        Communicate with staff on behalf of Analytical Lab. ·        Train and convert clients to usage of website for results and information. ·        Inform management staff of all customer concerns. ·        Track tests for timely completion and assure clients receive results on timely basis. ·        Insure quality and confidentiality of client and company information and take an active role in updating Quality System.·        Promote responsibility, good work habits, a positive work environment and improve customer service.
